Would anyone making political decisions about homelessness invite a homeless person into their home for a night and take care of them?

We're in the beginning of some strange, secular great awakening. Spirituality has been democratized too and people are grasping at mystic straws for some sort of structure for increasingly complicated lives.

Its a very interesting time to be alive.

Love the "wake up" calls these essays invoke. And a stark reminder that for most of us we will do nothing...until we are forced into doing something about these existential crises.

💜beautifully spoken.

Homelessness is lack of access to safe shelter.

No questions asked three free month housing plus available support services would help, plenty of empty retail buildings out there

“Look no further.” Is a powerful sentiment. But keep looking! Thanks for this article. How to be hospitable enough to invite in discomfort and offer it 3 cups of tea? I’ll live the question.

Touches on a lot of similar terrain, curious what you'd think.

Thoughts in word salad:

Was the previous cool periods regional and the flat peoples had no way to know anything of the rest of the world?

Was the Northern tribes akin to migration, or was the ecocide of visitors more threatening to their resources?

Is the wet bulb regions developing quickly an unknown experience of previous history, to throw all the water in the air with machinery and forget why a bald planet can not absorb back this humidity relationship?

Is migration an excuse for human imagination that only knows how to steal other peoples stuff and ignore the consequences of preordained violence?

It was after all the technique to achieve capture of unwilling slaves (including cross polinated cosmo locals) with an escape story.

Very compassionate article. It’s a complex issue for sure. What I come back to is that “every soul chooses.”

I constantly recommend “Ministry for The Future” to people. I think KSR nailed it. Really has me considering a career change to “eco-terrorist”🍄.
