Some beautiful Discordian analytical mindfuckery to spice up my morning coffee here! Might we also add a 4th analytical pillar to the pyramid of possibility? Hanlon’s Razor. The original version states “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” It probably needs updating for the post-truth, post-COVID era. Something like “Don’t blame evil people and conspiracy theories for things that are more likely to be caused by idiocy and incompetence.” It’s a generous lens through which to view and interpret the behaviour of your fellow humans that can do wonders for your mental health! And like most complexity heuristics, it’s useful but partial. As you eloquently point out, there are malevolent actors in every system, and sometimes they really are plotting to expropriate the life force of the young, accumulate all the toys and distract the gullible! All Hail Eris!

This is interesting. I had read Filthy Rich by Patterson long before Epstein became a dinner conversation. Then he became popular. I often wonder how the book brought this all together. Then the news (David Muir) reported Jeffery offed himself. Muir didn't use surprise emotion. Other reporters acted surprised. Jeffery had too much of an ego to off himself. Maybe the Donald would pardon him? So my question is who offed Jeffery? Could Trumpet 'a people have anything to do with it?
